Thank you for choosing our makeup services for your beauty needs. We understand that plans can change, and we have established policies to manage appointments effectively while respecting your needs.

Rescheduling and Cancellation Policy:

  • Rescheduling: You may reschedule your appointment once without penalty, provided you give at least 48 hours notice. Subsequent rescheduling will result in the loss of your initial deposit, and a new deposit will be required for booking another appointment.

  • Cancellation: Cancellations must be made at least 48 hours before the appointment. Late cancellations (within 48 hours of your appointment) will lead to the forfeiture of your deposit, and a new deposit will be needed for future bookings.

Deposit:

  • A deposit of $50-$90 is required at booking, which counts towards your service cost. The deposit is non-refundable but can be transferred once to another appointment if rescheduled at least 48 hours in advance.

Late Arrivals:

  • A 15-minute grace period is allowed for late arrivals. A $20 late fee applies after 15 minutes, and appointments are considered a no-show and canceled after 30 minutes.

Pre-Appointment Requirements:

  • Please arrive with a clean face and well-groomed brows.To ensure the most flawless makeup application, we recommend a smooth canvas. For those with facial hair, consider shaving or dermaplaning prior to your appointment. This step helps in achieving the most seamless and refined finish, especially for those with more pronounced facial hair.

Same-Day Bookings:

  • Full payment is required at the time of booking. Please email or call us to confirm availability before booking online.

 

Off-Hours Appointments:

  • Appointments outside regular business hours incur additional fees. Contact us via email to discuss availability.

 

Travel Fee and Locations:

  • A travel fee applies for services outside our location, based on distance. The service area must be suitable for setup, with good lighting, a table, and a power source. No services in dorms. Distractions and pets should be removed.

  • Artist will need a private area in order to do work.

 

Liability:

  • We are not liable for lost or forgotten items.

 

Social Media and Promotions:

  • By booking, you consent to the use of your images on our social media. Please inform us before your appointment if you're uncomfortable with this.

  • By booking with The Makeup Mavenn, you agree to allow the creation of promotional content for social media and website purposes.

 

Health and Safety:

  • If you're experiencing flu symptoms or infections, please refrain from booking. Appointments will be canceled upon arrival if this guideline is not followed.

 

Exceptions for Emergencies:

  • We accommodate emergencies or unavoidable circumstances. Please inform us as soon as possible in such cases.

 

Agreement:

  • We appreciate your understanding of our policies, which help us serve all clients effectively. Contact us with any questions or concerns.
